Long time no see

Hi guys, jeez its been ages since my last post. The pond is going great even though it has not really progressed any more. I will post pics up soon the fish are breeding like crazy. I dont have to buy fish anymore i have to start selling them :). I have some interesting mixes in there, anyway i will update later today or tomorrow.
 
Oh yeah the only problem we have at the moment is a kookaburra family decided to reside in the reserve behind my house. There have been one or two casualties but very rare. I am home all the time so i keep an eye out but unfortunately i cant always watch. I also dont fancy an unsightly net over the top so i might look into the Contech ScareCrow. Any one used this contraption before
 
great job!! we really want to build a pond one day, and yours is how i want it to look. love the islands in the middle.
have any close up's of the fish in the pond?

My brother has been to austrailia and he said that kookaburra's are amazingly annoying. He also said to never hold a kuala bear as you will smell for a week.

Something I have seen farmers use around here is a timed mechanism that makes noise. It can simply be a radio that puts out a noise very 10-15 minutes, or be as loud as a propane powered cannon that breaks 120dB.

Great job. It looks amazing.
