The tupperware just has holes drilled in the bottom, so the water flows over the lip, through a filter pad, and out the bottom, then over the wall onto the drip tray.

How is this build working for you nowadays? I have a pretty good sized common snapper I want to do something similar for and just wanted to know.
It worked great up until about a year and a half ago when I broke the setup down. The tank is sitting empty now and still usable, 100% successful as far as I'm concerned.
