Thanks for all the tips, just an idea we have been tossing around, of course getting him to actually do it is another story!! ME= :rant: LOL, At least I have a starting point if we did decide to do it!!

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, DIY tank can be cheaper.

For example, a 96X24X24 plywood tank costs about $650 give or take.
The same size tank at Glasscages (actually 96X24X25) costs $450 plus $80 charge when picking up from one of their show trucks.

But, $650 can also make you a 96X36X24 tank whereas Glasscages is $1100.00

Quite a jump.
