Bulbs question

I am currently running 4-96w (12k) CF's and 3-150w(10k) MH bulbs on my 180 gallon planted tank. The CF's are on about 14 hours and the MH's about 4 hours during the middle of the day. One of my MH's burnt out, so I am wondering if I should replace it with another 150w 10k or switch all three to 150w 6700 or 8000k? Which would be better for the plants?

10k, 8800, 6700, etc. It doesnt matter to the plants, basically choose what is the most pleasing to you.

Don't plants prefer the 6700k?

I don't think it makes a difference. There has been some debate on AC whether kelvin ratings even matter...supposedly the plants don't care and it's all about what is pleasing to your eye. I personally use a 6700-10K combo and I like it.
