After having the 125-gallon tank I bought off ebay sitting empty in the corner for a couple of months, I've finally decided to put it up. The guy I bought it from sawed the bulkheads off (they were glued in), so I have to replace them. When I went online to buy them, I noticed there are both single and double-threaded varieations. Which one of these should I buy? What determines which one I need?

if you were going to run pvc you would need the slip and if you wanted to run flex tubing you could go the screw so you can screw in the convertion ..(the also make the slip in versions for the convertion)

ok.. you would need a slip at the end of it.. and do you plan on having a screen http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1 on the other end and then running to pvc or a hole ? and i can tell you exactly what type you need
Yup, I plan to put a screen on top of the bulkhead, which will run down into the PVC through a hole drilled in the bottom of the aquarium.
k you need a thread-slip bulkhead :]
the rounded end actually goes into your tank and you have the other end pointing out... install the bulkhead and then glue you pvc in..
as for sizing.. measure you hole and get the closes size on the chart... try not to go bigger to "stay safe"
