Bully

I have a Ticto Barb in a 30gal tank with a Pinapple Swordtail, A dwarf Gourami, a Neon Gourami, a Green Tiger Barb, and an Angel fish. The Ticto torments the other fish so that even the Green Tiger Barb hides from it. Does anyone know a way to calm him down, or do I need to isolate him?

all barbs are considered fin nippers.

grow some hair algae.

I'll give that a shot, but I was suprised that he bullied the Tiger barb into a corner, more ramming his head into fish than nipping.

Barbs are very nippy especially when there are only one or two of them in an aquarium. They do much better in groups of six or more.That way thier aggression is spread out among them instead of being targeted all on one fish.
