Bumblebee Gobies

you actually caught them wild? i'm so jealous! I have wondered what animals would be compatible with them if I didn't go with a species tank. What else besides snails? TBH I'd worry about a snail wandering into a goby home.

Nerite snails will be fine. Yes, I caught them in the estuarines. I was fishing for tilapia with my family. They lasted two years in my 5g. You could always stick with guppies. These gobies don't usually bother anyone on top levels.

Edit: I don't mind catching another bunch but I don't know if they are still around since that was a few years back.

Lupin,

If you were to find some, I would be willing to purchase them from you and pay shipping. I plan to setup a dwarf tank and they were in my original plan. If you can't find them or don't feel like catching them, that's fine too. :grinyes:

There is a guy on aquabid that sells them. Blueram06. I bought some rainbows from him and he is a great seller. He has some on there right now for 14$ for 5 of them or 25$ for 10. He sent me extras too. :) Very very reasonable shipping last order too.

I'm still about 2 months away from even beginning to cycle a new tank, but thanks for the tip, I'll keep aquabid in mind :)
