These are my favorite shrimp. They will rest on my hands when I stick my arm in the tank, and even go for rides on my fingers to wherever I let them walk off.

They eat a lot. I have 100 of these guys, I find flakes work really well with them because they dont like to share food. Sinking pellets that break up work well too. They are constantly fighting if there is not enough food particles, Algae wafers lead them into brawls. They dont like to share food like my other shrimp.

Some of them crawl in holes in the driftwood, and hide in them like caves. Others claim territory in the "forest" and chase out trespassers.

I have four pregnant bumble bee shrimp now. I noticed the first berried shrimp last week, she was very active, but she only had two eggs left when I saw her at feeding time today. Its the same shrimp as in the pictures above. We have been so busy the last month, its possible she hatched the other eggs. Time will tell.

Its a 29g, When babies start showing up, Im going to split up the population. Some of them look similar to CBS and CRS, while others are very bland.

I have six berried (pregnant) shrimp now. I found a seventh prego, but she has only had two eggs for the last week. Hopefully they will hatch, These guys are so active, they were darting back and forth all over the tank today looking for food, there are no snails in this tank unlike my other tanks. They eat a lot for shrimp

Very nice.
