me too! :grinyes: not a decade but easily 5 years Try keeping it higher in the water column looks pretty low, where bottom dwellers can run into it.

them 2 dollar ones work for me also, I've never had to replace one. Unless I lost it. Both the ones that sink and the ones that come with the suction cup. I've had suction cups wear out on me though.

It didn't break. Its still working, Except that the markings have disapeared. And I paid... 0.50 $ for it.
