what is the best site to buy a clenup crew?
i found this one that looks like a good deal and includes a urchin which other sites dont include and is pretty cool.

i got a 55 gal tank. waht is the min and max anount i should put in it?
i only got 2 hermits now and its def not enough. its just 30 snails, 15 hermits, 5 crabs and a urchin seems like alot. whats your guys opinions?
Add some sites if you find better deals. i wanna buy one a crew soon.

this is the good site i found
i like the 30-55gal one http://www.reefscavengers.com/

this one is a little more expensive

personally, i would just buy a mixture of 10 snails and a micture of 10 hermits, couple of cleaners...

I personally, dont like the idea of buying a cleanup crew based on tank size. The clean up crew should be based on algae level / feed levels. What you need to do is get yourself a base line of the crew, and then keep adding small ammounts of say 5, in this case, and monitor them...

If you go out and buy some of these cleanup crew packages, some of them will undoubtadly starve and die, as i believe that they are way overkill...

This is of course, just an opinion..

Yeah don't base it on tank size. I had 9 hermits in my 30 gallon and I think 3-4 died. My tank is clean and all leftover food is being eatten.

Thanks Riverserver! I went with that site. Kinda was mad because I built my own package then they charged me $30 for S&H, it turns out the deal is no extra shipping charges or something. But i went with a premade package and when i put in my info i was suprised shipping is free!!!! This is what i got for the $90 package:

10 Nassarius Snails
10 Astraea Snails
10 Cernith Snails or 3 Queen Conch
1 Banded Coral Shrimp
20 Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
12 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crabs
3 Peppermint Shrimps
2 Emerald Mythrax Crabs

I think it's a good deal.
Can't wait for them to come, i'm so excited! It's like Christmas! lol.

I just added the prices up and i'm saving $15 on the livestock plus $30 in shipping. Feels good to get a good deal in such an expensive hobby!

:D When we were in the Bahamas, we didn't know how to pronounce it and botched it when we ordered some fried. The waitress was hysterical and said, "No! It's pronounced konk! Like if you dont say it right, I'm going to konk you on the head!"
