thats an awesome deal, 209 for all that. The stand is what kills alot of people especilly the larger you get.

now you gotta list exactly what you got :)
 
Yeah what kind of filter? If you have a little left over make sure to grab an under gravel!
If your broke I can dig up some old plates and you would only need the lift tubes since this seems to be your first 55 im stoked for you this is how it all began for me and soon im going to have a 8-9' X4 foot tank in my living room :)

Too much light, too much glare (i just polished the glass) Not a good enough camera for fish pix..but thats the tank....FULL OF ALGAE....hopin it dies soon...
 
Lookin' pretty good! Wait until it gets dark tonight, shut off all the lights in the room, and snap some shots. They will turn out a lot better.

Will do its right next to a huge window too so that doesn't help. It doesn't get direct sunlight but it gets illuminated from an angel i'd say.
 
I have several that are like that, the only time I can get a decent picture is at night ;)
