Buying Tanks Online

What kind of pleco do you have? If he is a common pleco and he is your fvorite then you should really look at getting a minimum of a 55 gallon tank, if not bigger. They will get to be 2 feet long and super poopers. So filtration is also a must.
As was mentioned once you start getting into larger tanks the shipping can often be more than the tank. Those small acrylic kits might be fine for shipping but nothing large.
Is there no where near you to get a bigger tank?

I thought I read somewhere about plecos scratching acrylic when rasping algae off the tank walls. I don't have acrylic tanks myself, so I cannot comment on my experience with them.
Otherwise, I agree that buying tanks online is usually not cost effective.
