No fabrication, no contradiction simply a few different angles of dealing with this. Some are the cards on the table, some are the cards in my hand.

Now the details of my trip and what I did there will still be kept secret, yet, it seems that someone knows a few things. The real ? is this, is this a legit concern coming from csis, if so the way this is being done is indeed not according to established protocols that is their mandated way of doing things. How do I know this, because of my friends who has worked with csis told me so.

great analogies, except that you're not playing poker or spearfishing.. you're posting about an extravagant escapade involving super secret travels overseas, shady intelligence agencies, and sabotage.. Robert Ludlum would be proud of you!

Hearsay from "friends who has [sic] worked with csis" isn't exactly viable information. I could make up anything I wanted about my military service, and you could choose to believe that, too.

You still didn't explain your contradiction of the need to expose EVERYTHING, yet keep choice items secret at your discretion. What is the difference between exposing this, and a supposed "social work" trip? If you're so worried about the government of the country you visited accusing you of bribery, does this mean you received some sort of return? Traveling to a foreign country to help its citizens is not bribery, unless you received something in return so sinister, that you are worried about bribery in your own home of Canada.

Your uncanny ability to make this look as shady and conspiracy-like as possible, really just makes it seem very unlikely.
 
I think his reluctance to bring it up stems from the nature of what he was doing over there not being a topic welcome for discussion on the forums.

Chef, I don't think you can keep calling them secrets if you want to keep bringing up all the good deeds you do in secret.

fair point, Rick. I just find it odd that he insists on continuing to refer to them and how super secret they are, because if they're just not appropriate to mention in the forum, then they should not be padded with controversial nature, and called as they are.
 
wow, this sounds almost like one of the mafia games. I see no problem in noteing about secrets but not telling them, it a way to ensure they get out while being able to say " I didnt tell anyone".
 
Oh, dear lordy lordy! You ever think that this could all just be a prank? Its one of three things: A prank, a paronoid fella, or a major issue, OR (found a fourth thing) a story that you came up with after getting prank mail and being paranoid which would make it an issue. Can a mod plz close the thread, its getting a little... um... (for lack of a better word) obnoxious.

I for one believe him, if indeed it does wind up being some kind of tale he spun I applaud him for entertaining us at the very least! I mean come on! I can't wait for the next post :)

So mod's please don't shut this thread down, I don't see any rules being broken, no one is getting hurt or offended are they?
