I will not pretend to know chef well enough to make many statements about him in his personal life. However, from what I've seen here and how I've seen his reactions, I would say he tends to overreact to situations.
I stated early on that the original package was something to look into, but the original message spoke volumes. Government agencies do not communicate in the verbiage used in either of the messages you received. Obviously, a government agent would not just sign a letter "agent 37".
You pointed out more than once that, things you have done in the past have given you great reason to be concerned about your government. I won't pretend to know what you did, or may still be a party too, however, if your actions make you question your safety from your government, then you are just as much to blame for putting your family in a "dangerous" situation. In most the civilized world, governments generally do not put a spotlight on you without a good reason. It's not like you live in China, Korea, or Iran. If I were in a situation where I would worry about my government coming after me in some way, I would contact government officials and see how to remedy the situation.
On a side note, I hope the martial skills you had your son trained in are purely defensive in nature. I've seen to many situations with children trained in martial skills, where they show them off to their friends, by using them. Children in general, should be taught it's better to avoid a physical altercation than stand and fight. Especially, if the children were taught moves that would bring down an adult.
One consistent theme in this thread is the bragging of martial skills and making blanket threats against first your government, and now against the individuals involved. From the perspective of any law enforcement individuals, who may look at this thread as part of an "investigation" into the matter, this thread could very easily work against you in terms of them pressing any legal charges against the individuals continuing the charade. It would be easier for a police officer to point the people to this thread and say, "hey, you may want to just back off this guy, he's a little off".
I would ask you to look back at all of your posts in this thread and really look at them from an outsiders perspective. I would hope you would see what many of us are pointing out. The whole story of this is just so far off. It's similar to some bad 1960's CIA spy movie. What is really sad, is that this has gone on so long and worked you up so much that the person who started this can't just say "sorry it was a joke" now.

My son knows that things are only to be used in a self defense or defense of another situation. Very much the same that my daughters know that if a situation were to arise where they needed to deal with a creep, all bets are off and anything goes.
Though I have taught my kids some things many times have I asked them if they have ever seen me hit someone. My son even held back when a little snot on the playground struck him across the face with a stick and drew blood, simply because the kid really did not mean it maliciously, they were playing. Now had the kid meant to do such in a violent matter the outcome would have been different. I hope this quells your thoughts as to my son using what he has been taught out of order.

I am sorry if I have been taken wrong in this thread, but, how to go about showing that there may very well be some things that prove this to be more than a joke but by sharing some things that I really did not want to share. Yet, necessity dictated that I bring out some of the stuff and the funny thing in life is that sometimes fact is indeed stranger than fiction.
And then there are the bandwagon jumpers who try to make me look like a crackpot, so I try a bit more to explain some things and that makes it only worse. MEH!! It is not like I am sending this stuff to myself.

At the end of the day I am all for a good joke and have my sarcastic side as many would know. And I am all for a good ribbing as well and can take much in stride.

Why?
Well, i took a look at the picture of the supposed document sent to you, as posting in post 1, from ( correct me if i am wrong ) CSIS..
All the numbering is a) in a different font, and b) different size c) different color depth
So, you could say that the letter is a standard template, and has the details filled in...filling in the blanks, so to speak...However, to blow that idea out of the water, the font / size used to type your name would, i'd expect to be in the same font / size used as the numbers..
Highlighted in the pic by the red rings...
So, i started to check out exposures, color balance, polorizing it....When i change the exposure, all the text in the picture should fade out, all at the same time / level ( within reason ), because all the text in the picture is supposed to be done at the same time and supposedly authentic...
Something different occured...look at all the normal text, then look at what happened to the numbers 37 ( to the right of the word agent )...
Hmmmm....they are virtually gone, where as all the other text areas' in the picture are fading out at a constant level....
To me, i come to the conclusion that a) the lettering was added in a different font and size, b) that the lettering font "should" be consistant, c) i would even suggest that the numbers on the letter were actually added to the document at a later date due to the reaction of the exposure ( making the document a windup document you buy from a joke shop......and d) i mean come on, since when do people from CSIS sign off a document as "Agent 37"....Lets leave James Bond out of this..
