Caiman Lizard

I really like those maybe I could get hubby to sell all 105 tarantulas. If I could convice him of that I could get them and still have money left over for a really nice tank, at least a 40 gallon. :) Really what size pond would have have to get for those?

Those are really cool. If only, if only...

I'll stick with my water dragons for now. :) They're smaller, not quite as aquatic, but cheaper and probably much easier to care for.

Though if I had enough money and space, I'd totally get one.

Good question, I'm not sure how big of a pond they'd need. I would think nothing less than 1/3 of their enclosure seeing how they are very aquatic. These guys are very closely related to tegus and they do get big so a setup 8'x5'x6' would be decent for a pair but bigger is always better.

I think they would be fine in a large setup. The bigger the setup the easier it is for the fish to get out of the way of a giant lizard.

When I read that, the jaws theme popped into my head...

I figure with my proposed set-up I could do some smaller cichlids. Just imagine an Oscar in there...lol :help: Who gives up first...
