Calcium Pills

I was wondering if it's possible to help out my malaysian trumpet snails by adding some calcium pills to the main tank. I'm using generic 500 mg CaC03 (2 pills) for a 30 gallon tank.

I also want to know if I dose once a week a generic multi-vitamin, would that be healthy?

wouldnt that make your water hard. are you trying to get them to breed more? because once they get going you will have tons and tons of them.
