thanks msjinxed i've seen a cple documentarys on them, seems a few have escaped or been dumped and are breeding in a few places here in the states
 
awwwww poor us'ers it is true they are banned in the us im not sure to what extent but they are banned all i can say is ur really missing out it is such a great sp to keep and i wish i had the space for more .

but i have one word for all the us'ers out there.................UNLUCKY...........LOL
 
I don't know if y'all saw this, but Channa argus are established now in the Mississippi drainage in Arkansas and potentially have access to the entire continental interior, including (via canal) the Great Lakes and Mobile systems. This is bad news...

:headshake2:I have 1 snail with tw clutches of eggs and new baby fry don't know what they are i had a platty and a moliie pregnant at the same time now thet are not go figure
 
Yup. Look at whats happening with the Lion Fish in the atlantic ocean..

All were pets, now in the wild, are pests..
This is getting OT though, Not what the OP wanted..
 
i totally agree it pnly takes a few iresponsible fishkeeps to ruin it for everone that is why us on AC need to show new fishkeepers the right way to go about the hobby

i really hope that the us can some how manage there situation and get it under control so future generations of fish keepers can enjoy this incredible fish
