:1zhelp: Camallanus worm infestation :crazy:
Anyone who has been able to treat and remove infestation please share your treatment solution.
I am thinking to get PraziPro today since I think I can find it at a store about 30 min away. Otherwise I will be ordering online and could try something else if there is a better solution/treatment.
Please... any suggestions would be very helpful ???

Have looked into Levamisole and it has been banned for about 4 years so I cant get it. I live in the US, New York state.

Also, I am looking into something brand name is "Safeguard". It is a liquid goat dewormer and is available locally for $20. i think the active ingredient is fendbendazole and have read that it is effective. anybody have experience with it? anyone know how to dose it?

@To3kn33: Thanks, checking if I can find Chanavern locally... do you know the active ingredient?? Store owner is not familar with that name.

lol, soo funny... I was just at that website. I cant get the treatment that worked for that person... banned in the usa :irked:
 
Levamisole is not banned in the US look up Prohibit. you can buy it online from farm supplies

I order this from my local feed store and i live in WA state...Hate dealing with theses little worms, my new apistos in QT have a bad case of them.

5 grams treats 100 gallons...this is 52 grams for about 20$

Sorry to hear about your apistos. Hopefully they will be just fine after treatment :)

A local farm supplier told me that the active ingredient it was banned and no longer available... sorry for the mis information I posted.

I have been trying to find Prohibit everywhere. Could you please message me or post the name and/or contact info of your farm supply store so that I can contact them to order it?? I would really appreciate it... thx
