Cambarus (Erebicambarus) rusticiformis

Anyone know anything about Cambarus (Erebicambarus) rusticiformis? I've got 2 of them but they have a blue hue to their carapace. I assume this is because they're still young. They're probably 4 - 5" each.

I can post pics of them tomorrow to get a positive identification...

it's a long time to read ur post, per I am just new for this forum, I am interesting in expanding my crayfish spieces, did u still get the rusticiformis, or u had other spieces, pls send me the pictures & quote, I would like to source from u! tks!

They weren't the correct species. They are Kentucky River Crayfish (Orconectes juvenilis). I'm currently out of the crays but hope to get some in the near future.

Hello James, sorry for the delayed response.
Those are an Orconectes sxpecies cray, not the Cambarus rusticiformis.
They look very healthy though, great job with them.
