I am soooooo frustrated that I didnt notice the ich earlier!!! I got two new girl bettas and put them in my bottom 2.5 gal filtered with my favorite boy (Biggest mistake of my life!!!). Now, after 7 days of being REALLY busy, I actually look at them while I feed them and all three of them have a bad case of ich!!! I am freaking out! My show off boy has lost a lot of his sheen... He kind of looks like he did when I bought him (Before I started feeding him bloodworms, he cant get enough). Im treating with quick cure. Oh! And now one of my other boys who was recently placed in a different tank by himself has it also... Just my luck...

Other than the medication, salt, water changes, and temp is there anything I can/should do for them? I feel like a terrible fishy mommy.... :(

And has everyone ever had a betta return to their full glory after an epidemic like this? I love my show off boy and I hate seeing him not dancing in the front of my tank...... :'(

Salt and high temp should do you.....how did the other male get it if you put 2 new females in a single tank with one male? Maybe you should disinfect all your nets...??

I have. Im assuming that is how he got it. And the only think holding me back on the heat and salt cure is that I have no heater (I live in Florida and have never had a need for one. House is always above 76 degrees.)
