Camel Shrimp

I just got a Camel Shrimp. Neat looking critter. Always hides though. How can i see it at night? Ive heard of a red flashlight but is that it? Thanks, justin

He'll become bolder as he settles in. My shrimp peeks out when I feed him. If you turn off the lights in the tank, you have a better chance of getting a glimpse sooner.

Hope this isn't for a reef--camels are very good at eating polyps and small worms.
