Camera Battery Troubles

Eureka! I found the problem but I'm still not so happy about it. When ever the cam has 87 pics left, it freezes whenever you try to take a pic. I thought the freezing was from a bad battery but it isn't. I deleted some picutres and now its working again (at least somewhat). The bad part is that I can't save very many picutres. I have a 128 MB card and it will only let me use 40 MB of it. When it says there are 87 pics left, then it doesn't work. Any number higher and it will work fine. I just wish I could use the rest of the card.

Might need to clean the card--plug the camera in via a USB, open the camera from My Computer, and see what all is on there.

i had that problem a couple of times.turns out the camera was faulty.sent it away with 2 days of warrenty left.when i got it back it worked for 11 pics. then died.same problem.they wouldn't fix it again so i through it on the store floor, raised a stink and bought another camera elseware.never a kodak again.

Check if there are any "corrupt" pictures in the memory stick/camera. This kept happening to me. There are instructions on how to do that in the booklet that comes with the camera (at least there is for the Kodak CX6330).

I love my rechargeable kodak batteries. I can run those things for weeks, using the viewfinder, without having to recharge them.

I just had that problem with my PDA. I think I took a picture, saved it to my SD card, and after that I couldnt get into it. So I emailed Lexar Media, and told me to format my card. So I found a card reader, did a format, and poof! it was working again. But keep in mind that a format will erase everyting on your card.
