Can 1 Clown Loach school with a pack of cories? What do clowns eat?

I keep 8 loaches with 7 cories with no problems what-so-ever. They usually just ignore each other...even during feeding time..I've seen them share food tablets many times.
 
I have 2 clowns with 6 cories and they often swim in a large group together - so I have good experiances of clowns and cories together. But I also know of people wwho have bad experiances, like many people who have posted here already, so you can never really know - I guess its potluck with what attitude your fish have!
