Thats the question..lol

Nope, not at all. You managed to include a near food chain. The puffer will happily eat both the starfish and urchin, while the starfish (by itself) would happily eat the urchin (mouth first). You need to choose one and only one. It seems you already have both the starfish and urchin--it is only a matter of time until the starfish finds it (unless the urchin is substantially larger).

my one friend has two starfish in with his puffer and the puffer dosent bother them at all

So I have a 50/50 shot or better,,same odds I had when I bought my picasso and he is a real sweet heart.I found the key with him is to keep him feed.
I am thinking about getting a puffer, that is one of the fish I have ALWAYS wonted. The LFS I deal with will have a porcupine puffer waiting for me if I wont him next week.

My CC star and urchin are about the same size and have never bothered each other.

My picasso use to pick up my CC starfish and carry him around the tank. It was not fun times for the starfish.

My CC likes to cover up the algae clip and eat it all for him self..All my fish including the picasso will go to the clip and nudge my CC and he will lift up one leg to let them eat some algae..It is too cute to watch.

I guess I should have asked what kind of puffer. While the other poster's friend may have either had very good luck or got a relatively benign species, the chance of a problem is definitely more than 50% with most common species. In general, their diets are extremely broad, so I would not trust it.

A porcupine puffer. They are tooo cute..I found an article online that made me think it would be ok with the urchin anyhow.

Here is a link to what I found.
The reason I said 50/50 was because I felt that was my odds and not as god as odds that I would have problems with my trigger and I have been very lucky with him.I do know that may change later as he gets older but there is also the chance that it wont,,not a good chance but a chance.lol.

Nope, I say not a good chance at all. I'd also say that your picasso will probably one day figure out it's tank mates are made of tasty meat.
I hope that I'm wrong.
