another pic if this shows anything different at all

I would definitely QT the fish if it is possible. I had something similar to this with one of my fish, it died which wasn't a surprise to me but unfortunately 5 other fish after it died as well within the span of days.

Other than the shape looks more like bloating than eggs, females chests turn bright pink/red when it's breeding time.

Peas help to clear the digestive tract. The bloating could have been due to constipation but if she's still poo'ing then obviously that's not the issue...

she's in QT now and i have placed 1 shelled pea in there for her...
i'll see how she goes over next few days many thanks for your input all

Let us know what happens.

My female ballooned up for a day, scared me, I thought something might be wrong but she ended up laying eggs later that same day.

Hope you have good news.

hi there my update...

firstly thank you all for your advice and comments it all helped so much ;-)

well she is still in QT, she has been on medication with pond salt added that has helped speed up the process.

there is NO SWELLING NOW .... and her figure looks gr8 her colours are as

today was the start of 10% water changes which will continue daily till the weekend

if all goes well till by the end of the weekend

hopefully she can return to the main tank where she has been missed by her

sister and the other tank m8's i'm sure..

once she has totally recoverd i will post a picture of her again to show you

hopefully you will be as pleased as i to see her..
