Can anyone ID this $20 CL filter, Eheim?

I have a local guy selling a large capacity filter (200g) he claims is very expensive new and working great. But I don't want to buy it if its a clone. Photo looks like it has 2 ports at the top with carry handle. Look familiar put I cant place it.

Can anyone ID this Eheim looking filter so I can decide if I want it for $20

Looks like a Eheim ecco 2236, whats with the stickers?? lol if it works ok it's worth 20 bux for sure.

Thanks I didn't even think about the Ecco but that must be it. The add says its for 200 gallon tanks and they only make one for an 80 tank. The add also says that it needs a latch handle that he says only cost $5 but in fact they are $18 not including shipping about $26. So total it would cost me $46 if it even works, I noticed the price for an impeller on that thing cost $27 which is outrageous. I might offer $5

All things considered, IMO - that's too much money for something that *might* work. I would suggest you pass unless you need a filter and can't wait.

Yeah your right, I don't think I have heard one good review on this filter yet and a bunch of complaints. Thought it might be a deal steal, but after researching and reading yours and other response, looks more like a trap LOL.

i would ask him where he can get the part for 5.00 and let him know you found it will cost 26.00 maybe he has a secret source we all should know about for cheap parts LOL

I did in a very indirect and polite way, he just said "you want the filter for $20 or not?" I just tole him I had to pass on it.
