Hi guys, can C. pleuros and oscars coexist together in the same tank? can it be done? I know both species grow in a comparable size and I think pleuros are one of the more safer options of channa species than C. micropeltes but would I try or chance it and recommend it to keep with oscars in the future? Thanks.

I wouldn’t really recommend it. Even though C. pleurophthalma is on the calmer side for a snakehead, it’s still risky with oscars long term. Temperaments can clash as they grow, and things can go bad fast. It might work short‑term in a huge tank, but overall it’s more of a gamble than a safe combo.
