Can DIY CO2 make my fish drunk?

My father works for a winery and when I mentioned the diy co2 method he was curious if there were ethyl alcohol molecules passed to the water as well?

Has anyone tested this or know how to in a diy setting?

I use DIY CO2 and have never notice any unusual behaviour or signs of discomfort in my fish but... interesting question!

For a fish to get drunk, it would need to be in something that would get it drunk.. and chances are that would kill it. I doubt that a fish could get drunk without turning belly up.
