Can fish get sick with something that you have?

Thanks guys and gals. I hope to be 100% soon. Tomorrow would be nice since it is Mothers day and my daughter just came back from college not to mention that I think my two boys and my husband have gotten me something special for tomorrow. The comment about passing out and falling in the tank was funny. I needed that. I don't think my husband would do a water change if his life depended on it. He complains if I ask for help because one of the filters went down. Anyways, I did the water change and added the new plants. Everything is doing well now. Oh and I forgot to mention that this is the tank with my beautiful rainbows too. The turquoise ones are gorgeous and I just picked up a New Guiena Red rainbow. He is a beauty! Anyways, now I just plan to rest for the rest of the evening sitting in front of my 125 watching all of the fish and live plants.
