also can i get diffrent kind of barbs to school with the tigers? as 3 died over like 4 months.

Barbs are known fin nippers. I recommend not getting anymore barbs for the tank. As for the FireMouth Id say no, because male JD's get around 10-12" and female JD's get around 8", and Blood Parrots can get around 10" also.
i cant get rid of the BP because it had way too much sentimental value to his name. as he went through 3 power outages a summer month in chicago of no ac becasue it broke. but if he ever dies then thats a diffrent story.
also i have never had problems with the fin nipping besides there own kind had some battle scars but nothing major.

Yeah the tank would be overstocked if you got a firemouth. Males can get 6" female about 3-4". So it would over burden your tank.
