Can I add another skimmer?

Currently I have a Berlin HOT with a mag 7 running 130gallons of water with a high bioload. I have another Berlin HOT with a mag 7 that can fit on the other side of the sump.

Q: Will the extra skimmer help remove more proteins or will it make my first skimmer less efficient?

Q: Is heat and room the only reasons people don't use more than one skimmer or is there a whole network of folks doing this?

I'm currently saving up for a Bubblemaster, but in the meantime I'm hoping this is an option.

Thanks,
Tom

Some people run 2 skimmers and some people don't even use skimmers. I would think the majority of people probably run one that's large enough for their tank, as Grins stated.

I wish I hadn't bought these two Berlins. For the money, I could've gotten a nice asm. Anyway, I hooked the other one up and it's pulling gunk too. Hopefully it's doing some good.
