Can i mix diff corys?

Yeah, I believe the cory that always swims upside down is called "upside down catfish".. Its commonly sold at petsmart.

As for the orange cory with the strip, I think I saw a picture of that on aquabid.. The body wasn't very orange - semi orange. It had one strip that was dark orange.. not sure..

A cory that swims upside down? Perhaps this is the synodontis which is commonly sold at petsmart under the name "upside down catfish?" Could you perhaps get us a picture the next time you visit that store?
It might be. Ok, ill try to get a pic of the cat fish.

The fish you're seeing is synodontis nigriventris. Its in the synodontis family, and is probably the smallest of that family. Most syno's grow to be 6-9", that particular one seems to stay in the 4" range. I had one for a matter of perhaps an hour... until I noticed while I was floating its bag in my tank that it had ich. >_< Took it back and told them to check out their fish stock.

I have 5 c. aeneus (3 green, 2 albino) who school loosely and are very active. I have one lone survivor of many attempts of purchasing from the Petsmart spotted cory tank (see my avatar). He's possibly c. gomezi or c. leopardus. His behavior is quite different; he's more reserved, eats after everyone else has finished (which makes me wonder if he gets enough) and only rarely schools with the others.

So your results may vary. I feel bad that this guy is sort of alone, but don't want to kill off any more spotted cories trying to get him some friends.

The orange lazer cories look great in pictures I've seen, but I've not seen one in real life. Good luck with yours (if you do get him).
