I have a 40 gallon high, planted. I had an angel and a pair of kribs which didnt work. they were fine until the krib babies arrived, then all hell broke loose. In the end i lost my male krib ( i think he hurt himself fighting with the angel). i removed the angel, but it was too late. so, now I have a lone female krib and want to add some more fish before i put the angel back in.

I was thinking of a german ram and maybe some lemon tetras? i dont want to overcrowd the tank, but i dont want it empty either.

Any ideas to help me out?

Lemon tetras should work. IME kribs only pick on similar sized fish. A ram would be annihilated.

^^^^I agree, go with a schooling fish...one that's not going to get too big, black and white skirt tetras are always a nice addition to any tank.

I don't see that that would be a problem. But if you then added a male, that would cause problems.

I had two female kribs for a while, and one harassed the hell out of the other to the point where I had to take her back to the lfs in order to save her life.

I already had a male in the tank, if you read above. I was told it ould be okay, but it wasn't. Now I am just trying to find another cool bottom dwelling fish i could put with the krib.
