I searched the net but can't find anything that exactly describes these tiny creatures that have arrived uninvited to my aquarium. This is one of the biggest I've seen and is about 5mm across. But the whorls on the shell are flat - they don't spiral up like a pond snail. Is that a good enough description?? :D snail.jpg

Thanks for confirming... That was my only guess but I wasn't sure about the colouring. Its a brown ramshorn I guess. Are they as bad at reproducing as the others?

I've removed a good amount of them but still a few popping up here and there of course. I do want a 'clean-up crew' those as I have kribs so any other bottom feeders probably won't work... And although I try really hard not to over feed they seem to get fussy and leave some lying around.
