can the angels survive?

I have two large Silver Dollars (5-6"s) in a 55 Gallon tank. They can swim around pretty fast sometimes and compete heavily for food.

Do you think Angelfish would do well with them? How many? Is this a bad idea or not?

(sorry to many of you who have seen me post about what fish to put with these silver dollars. hehe still undecided!)

I think they would outcompete the angels for food and might startle them a lot.

that's what I would guess.. but I've heard angels can hold up for themselves pretty well.

silver dollars = fast
angelfish = slow

usually not a great combo. but maybeeeee

angels are acctually not as slow as people might think, and they are pretty tough. but, since the silver dollars are so big and zoom around so much, they might stress out the angels because of the hyperactivity.

my silver dollars are huge too. it really might not be good, unless the angelfish was big.

I work part time at an aquarium in NJ and they said they would take my silver dollars and put them into a freshwater Amazon 10,000 gallon tank.

Think they would like that better then my 55 gallon? hehe.
