"This fish tank is a 15” acrylic cube made from ½” cell cast acrylic. The thick walls are more than is necessary for this size tank, but it makes for a very nice appearance. The floor of the tank is drilled to fit two ½” bulkeheads for plumbing a sump or canister filter. The overall volume of this tank would equate to +/- 11 gallons

I custom ordered the tank so I could hide everything (I was going to plumb a canister filter in directly and have an inline heater beneath the tank. Unfortunately, when the tank was shipped, it was done so poorly and the seams split. "

I have not seen the tank. They are asking $50 OBO Is this something i should look into?

$50 for a questionable 11G tank? I'd have to say NO.

In a word, no. :grinyes:

because its a seam issue in a plastic tank I would say its junk. It has to be solvent welded and most likely the general public coild not make the repair. Silicone will noe adhere correctly to the walls and it just wont work.

Tell them you want a new tank or your money back.

Nope...pass on it.

thanks I was just wondering i have no experence with acylic tanks. Thanks Zach
