can u indentify

Definitely NOT a true Red Terror, A. festae. All else aside, the oceli on the tail is much too large to be a Red Terror. The oceli on festae barely covers the upper half of the caudal peduncle. Your covers it from top to bottom. If anything you have an A. uropthalmus but even that doesn't look right. Do you have more recent pics showing the normal coloration including stripes?

heres the only outher close up i could get...i tryed to point out his stripes but their pretty light unless hes pissed

I do believe you got it right with A. eropthalmus, Marcus.
What do you think Psychadelicdrea? This ones a adult.

That fish is "Cichlasoma" urophthalmus. Currently unclassified hence the "Cichlasoma" title. Also commonly known as the Mayan cichlid or the Flase Red Terror.

VERY often sold as the Red Terror, but that it is not. Still a cool fish. Ive had many in the past.

They are found all over the place in the Florida Everglades. I believe they are native to Mexico. They are doing a very good job of overtaking floridas natural fish population.
