Can you put ammo chips in a wisper filter?

I can fit in weekly water changes. Is that enough for 3 fancy goldfish in a 55g? My schedule can be random during spring and summer. Free one min then the next totally booked. It’s not always like that. I just want to have back up plans.

What do you guys do when you arent in town to do water changes?

when it comes to goldfish the more water changes the better. I don't know what percent you do now but you wont go wrong in bumping it up to one more say 35% water change a week. As far as vacations or work, missing a water change for a week or two should not be a problem, things happen and stuff comes up. just be sure to do a good one before and immediately after. If your worried about too much waist in the tank ( goldfish are heavy solid and liquid waist producers) add another filter to your tank, it will keep it cleaner and also a good idea if the other filter happens to malfunction when your away.
