I have been raising african cichlids for a little over a year. I wanted to try some new fish, so a friend offered me a couple of her convics. I have those in a smaller tank til they mature more. I recently bought 2 JD's that are 2 inches long. They are currently in a 45gl. tank. Would it be safe to move convics and Jd's to a 55 gl. tank or not she has a large assortment of aggresive fish in a 150 gl. tank and seem to be doing well, but everywhere I read says Jd's will tear up anything you put into a tank... true? or does it really depend on the fish. I have a placostomas in with the JD's and they don't bother him. Any thoughts or suggestions?
