Can you sell fish that you breed yourself

You most certainly can. There are a lot of fish stores that will give you cash, or more likely, store credit if you bring in fisht that you have raised yourself. You might also try to sell fish that you have breed privately, however, this can prove a little more difficult. Try advertising in a local newspaper if you can. When selling your fish to a pet store do not try to take them into a big box store, such as Wal Mart, Petco, PetSmart, or the like, because they will not take them. Try Locally owned stores, especially ones that you may frequent, if the owners of the store know you well, chances are that they will do what they can for you.

Depends on what fish. Aquabid.com might work. But you won't get much for common petstore varieties (bettas, guppies, swordtails, platies, etc.) which are pretty much mutts of the fish world. You'd need high quality breeding stock to sell many fish that way. And you'd have to go to the hassle of shipping fish.

I don't think you're very likely to sell any common fish anywhere really. Sometimes you can talk a mom and pop LFS into buying extra stock or trading them in for credit, but I'm sure most stores are inundated with such requests.

I was wondering the same thing. Money is always good for a teenager like me:D. I have a pair of Blue Acaras I i think the have paired up. Im wondering what to do with all the little buggers if they do come. If worse comes to worse i will just dig out my old 25 gallon and set that up.

find a local fish club. You can either sell the fish if they are desireable species or you can even trade fish for equipment or other fish. KYle
