I have a pretty blood parrot I hate to have to move, she is the prettiest girl. I want loaches, 6 of them, but want to know if they will do well with my parrot.
I have treid to find what loaches go with, but so far only a few fish, rainbows etc. there are some loaches that are semi agressive, will they go with blood parrots? this is for my 55 gallon tank.( the fire mouth will be rehomed before any kind of loaches arrive.)

mine was a mean one, picking on the green sevrum, the it turned on her and the sevrum kept her i a corner. not sure what she is now since the green sevrum is gone. I miss HIm
:( but they both fought bad, and the fire mouths to. she is left I want to keep, but I have got to figure out who to put in with her. I have a big old tank and soon it will be just her, the bolivina ram and the small baby pleco  I have a guy coming for the fire mouth. I want some other tank mates to look at.

If she is that aggressive, then for the most part, if you wish to keep loaches, keep a close watch on the parrot. If she harasses them to an extent, then she will have to go. Severums are much better tankmates when you compare their personality to blood parrots. Blood parrots are very unpredictable whereas the severums, most of the time, they are mild-mannered and peaceful for cichlids. I have a pair of gold sevs with my loaches and they do not mind being brushed by loaches with their whiskers.:grinyes:
