Canister Filter Decision Help

you build a Co2 reactor to be hooked up inline sort of like this

when i had my C-220 i really liked it that was back when i could get them off ebay for like 80shipped now there more expensive. the thing with them is they have vary tight interlocking basket which mean almost no water bypass also thay are easier to prime because thay have a priming button. the SunSun basically the same product but much cheaper and i know CWO4GUNNER likes them (coming from im thats something). here is his review of them.

okay dokay...well in the next two days im tracking a bid on ebay for an eheim pro II 2028, and if it stays cheap i might get that. If not ill look into the marinland and the sunsun

After reading this i did not that Gunner suggested lubricating stuff with Vaseline....can anyone verify doing this? And would you lubricate the inside as well?

yes you can run inline stuff with the classics i have a 2211 and 2213 and run inline CO2 and a Hydro in line heater on each one. while i like the classic thay are a pain in the *** to prime and i think the pro series are just to expensive and i would go with a Marineland C-series or a Sunsun canister filter over the pro.

Yeah sunsun's are great I have one right now!

I went with the eheim classic (2217), and I'm happy with it. I've cleaned it out once since the install with no issues. No spills, no big mess - really not that difficult. I read so many good things about them, that the fact that the pricing was better than the Pro series just made it a really easy decision. So far I'm still very pleased.
