Bought new canister filter from india and installed in new aquarium. Filter runs with no fishes. four days till now water is still cloudy. When will the water be clear to add new fishes. thanks
 
Normal bacteria bloom for a new tank set up. Clear water will not be an indicator you can add fish. You need to establish beneficial bacteria to support fish load.
 
THanks Bishop. The media which is used in filter (activated carbon,bio balls, ceramic rings) it is mandate to put them inside filter in some order ?

I feel some chemical smell in water and few yards away from tank hope this will go away over period of time.
 
What water conditioner are you using?
