I have a Fluval 404 and an AC 500 on my 90 gallon and I don't know how long canisters last for but I am going to try something other than the fluval. It's a good filter but after cleaning it takes a song & dance to get the thing primed and running again. I think I'll try an Eheim next, that's my 2 cents.
