ok so im setting up a 75gal. af tank, and i was thinking for fliters th fluval 405, is it good, what do you like/dislike about it, are there better easyer canisters that are good??? keep in mined i have a 200$ buggite

Well if you have $200 may I suggest the XP4? or maybe 2 XP2's. If it was me, I think I would go the 2 XP2's route.
personally i would go with a c360 or a rena xp3 and maybe a hob. if you shop online you can get a big canister and a good sized hob for 200 if you try hard. check out kensfish.com has good prices on filters.
ehiem is great but pricey...rena filstar xp series filters are cheap and work great too....i have had my xp3 on my 75g planted tank for 6 years and its still running like new. many options to load it up. Ill be getting an xp4 when I can.

I wouldn't recommend a fluval. I hate both of mine, they are hard to work with and don't seem to be designed very well. I also have an eheim which is very good but as already mentioned they are pricey.

Eheim pro series are pricey but the classic series are comparable to an xp with media.
