Cannot keep Clowns?

:sad I have lost more fish 5 clowns. I cannot figure out why I cannot keep clowns. I have one Sailfin Tang (1-2 weeks) I Lawn mower Blenney, (4 weeks) 2 Firemouths (?) (1 week) I dont know if I'm starving my Fancy Serpent Sea Stars 2, and they are killing them or what? Or maybe a poisenious coral or what? I was able to find two clown and take them out but the others are in the LR or something? I'm going tomorrow and purchase a Magnesium test kit! Help!!! :sick:

Clown fish can actually be hard to acclimate. Once they do, however, I have found them to be very hardy. I have also had better luck with the tank raised percs than with wild stock.

What kind of clowns are you trying to keep?

slow down how soon you are adding fish maybe. also they could get stressed out in a quick acclimation, or maybe they were bothered by another fish??? i'm sorry to hear that! what types of clowns were they? :sad
