Can't find it!

I was sure there was a thread somewhere about fish genders, but I can't find it! :help: My roomie just got a pretty ryukin for her 29 gallon, and we were wondering what gender it is. Can someone direct me to a post where this has been answered?

when it matures, a male will show tubercles on his gill plate.... or little white bumps.

I remember someone had some gorgeous pictures of her goldfish, a pair of them, and now that I think about it, I think I remember someone mentioning them on her male...She had a big white female, I think...
