Cant get a job in this economy???

Well In all honesty, my son joined the Army via the DEP, Delayed Entry Program, the day after 9/11 when he was 16. Turned 18 during his first deployment to Iraq. Was deployed two more times to Afghanistan and thankfully made it home with minor injuries. He is currently enrolled in School via the GI Bill and pulling a 3.4 gpa while collecting 60% disability for an injury to his knee and PTSD..

He lost three of his very best friends and the father of his goddaughter.

He doesnt regret anything he did..

We are proud of him

Here he is doing rock paper scissors for the turret..

When I get laid off it'll probably be Deployment 3
Kind of weird to be a Sea going Rate in the Navy sent to a landlocked country but it pays the bills

they need to make those out of leather......i would totally do it;)

As well you should be. We are too.
I don't take orders too well, especially if they're stupid, unless I have a good enough explanation (drives my manager batty, but she'll take it since I've pointed out many a broken process that's been improved). I'm not psychologically cut out for that kind of work, but as the son of an Air Force vet who was injured in Afghanistan, I appreciate that our troops are willing to sacrifice everything so I have the option to do what I choose.

ugh...people who question orders...i'm the captain of a commercial fishing boat...lets just say they don't get hired next year, or bet bonuses.

And those serving appreciate the fact that you appreciate their sacrifices.
