Isn't there a hierarchy to the different types of algae? Like one suppresses the rest when it's doing very well. Staghorn being near the top.
Anyways, I remember someone saying to reduce nitrates in order to get rid of staghorn. Can someone verify that?
Of course, I took the same route you did and nuked every plant, piece of driftwood, and large rock I had just to be on the safe side with bleach dipping. My only problem now is keeping my Anacharis and Hornwort alive. Accidentally left them in for a minute and a half. Doh!
