Careless bristlenose pleco knocking over aquatic plants

Have you guys been annoyed about that pleco knocking over your aquascape? :silly: Of course, I believe plecs are not doing it on purpose......
 
it's just one of those things you have to deal with when a pleco gets to be a couple inches or more. they're not graceful swimmers, so anything that can be moved by them probably will be.
 
pleco and plants

my pleco kept digging up my plants at night and eating them. Since I started putting a leaf of lettuce a day in the tank, he leaves my plants alone. The pleco loves the lettuce. He prefers the lettuce over the plants.
 
I had to move my pleco out of my planted tank since he was damaging the leaves, he's huge! and I really like him, but watching him ruin weeks worth of growth made me so mad! now I love him again in my floating plants tank.
 
My BN doesn't do it too much. He swims away in a instant knocking plants over when startled.
